“We don’t yet
see things clearly. We’re squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it
won’t be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We’ll see it
all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing him directly just as he
knows us!”
1 Corinthians 13:12 (The Message)
Hands tied behind your back, feet glued to the ground and your mouth sewed shut...ever feel like that?
It is difficult to watch your child choose the harder path. To watch a friend venture out to see if the grass is greener on the other side. To watch parents age, relationships fade and memories become frail . The mist invades our minds the fog settles then obscures. It impairs the ability to see or look further.....for a time.
The fog does lift! The mist settles on the ground and your sight becomes sharper! Read the verse above, not only does the sun shine, it shines BRIGHT!
I'm just learning to trust God with all the matters of my life. Not just the big one (salvation)! It's not easy to surrender our wills to that of God. When we have become accustomed to trusting humans who carelessly let us down, it is hard to think that we could trust a God that we cannot see. It could also be because the fog is obscuring our view of His vision. When it comes to ourselves, our family and friends whatever the situation may be..let's trust God together. Father, find me on my knees praying and worshipping You through these hard transitions. May the light of Your face shine upon me as You keep Your promise to make all things clear!
